Emerys Varran is a Chaos Lord of the Black Legion who leads the warbandknown as the Vehement Chorus.[1]
Styling himself as the Apostle of Discordance, he is a trusted lieutenant of Abaddon and unusually zealous in his veneration of the Gods of Chaos. He is always accompanied by four Dark Apostles, each of which brings the blessing of a different god. Despite his pious nature, his true allegiance is still to the Black Legion. He holds a particularly violent hate for the Sisters of Battle, having lost his left eye to the Neural Whip of one during the Siege of Dharrovar.[1]
Abaddon has has recently dispatched Varran to aid Haarken Worldclaimer in the Nachmund Rift War.
