Endymion Cluster
The Endymion Cluster is a star cluster located within the Maelstrom Zone in the Ultima Segmentum, near The Maelstrom.[1]
History
An enclave of Imperial worlds surrounded by hostile wilderness at the edge of the Maelstrom Zone, the Endymion Cluster comprises 20 Systems, of which 6 can be regarded as having major importance. The region has never been sufficiently coherent or economically viable enough to become a proper Sector, and is known as a trackless alien-haunted expanse of primitive worlds. There are few stable warp routes in or out of the cluster, and these are often plagued by Pirates, Ork raiders, Daemons, and unexpected storms. The Mantis Warriors have made this region their home for millennia, having stood guard over the Cluster for thousands of years and gaining a great degree of autonomy.[3]
After the Badab War, the defeated Mantis Warriors were stripped of much of their domains.[3]
