Equinox is the sixth planet orbiting the star known as Graia.[1] It was an Eldar Maiden World before it was abandoned at the time of the Fall of the Eldar when the mind of every Eldar living there was blasted apart by Slaanesh's birth.[1]
The planet and its system were created using starshaping technologies to place the star Graia a perfect distance away such that the weather is constantly a mild spring morning. Wraithbone catacombs runs the totality of the planet's surface and bring water and nutriends to it's cathedral-like trees and fauna. Life on the planet is sustained by the Pandoraque, an Eldar device capable of bringing the whole planet back to life in the event of their untimely demise.[1]
Equinox today is under investigation by the Inquisition for the dangerous cults forming under it's surface.[1]

Notes
The star Graia is not to be confused with the Forge World of Graia cited in Imperial Armour Volume One (2003). Both systems seem to be located in Segmentum Tempestus as evidenced by a map in the 2011 Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine videogame.
