Esme Chorda
Esme Chorda was an infamous Rogue Trader privateer of the Calixis Sector, who was a scion of House Chorda.[1]
History
In 673.M40, Esme led a loose alliance of Rogue Trader vessels, against the Space Hulk Cauldron of Savagery. They fought beside a threadbare contingent of Battlefleet Calixis defenders and fought the Space Hulk in the Drusus Marches Sub-sector's Pellucidan System. Their combined forces succeeded in bombarding the Cauldron of Savagery into Pellucidan's sun and saved the System from its nightmarish inhabitants. In reward for Esme's efforts, the Imperium gifted House Chorda the freedom of the Drusus Marches Sub-sector. Although repealed a century later for malfeasance, this benefice cemented Chorda as one of the Calixis Sector's most powerful Rogue Trader Houses.[1]
