Excruciator (Research Vessel)

The Excruciator was an Imperial Research Vessel, that was destroyed by the T'au Empire forces of Commander Kauyon Mont'ka,^[1] during its Third Sphere of Expansion.^[2]

History

This occurred in one of the Imperial Sectors near the Damocles Gulf, that the T'au Empire invaded in the wake of the 13th Black Crusade.^[3] Though the Excruciator had been accompanied by an Imperial fleet when the Research Vessel was attacked, it too was destroyed by Kauyon Mont'ka's forces.^[1]

The Excruciator and Kauyon Mont'ka were created for the Dark Crusade Campaign by the Hobby Center staff of Games Workshop's Santa Anita store^[1] in Arcadia, California, USA.^[4]
