Explorator Crusade Gheint's Monopole was an Explorator Fleet launched by the Forge World Graia. It was named after the near-mythical device it was charged with recovering. However, the Graians have no idea what the Gheint's Monopole looks like and so the Crusade chases down rumours that will lead it to the device.[1]

History

While its long journey has brought it no closer to the Gheint's Monopole, the Crusade's forces have accomplished incredible deeds in the process. These include tapping three rich deposits of Neo-Promethium, consecrating two Forge Temples and discovering many other prized assets.[1]

The enemies of the Imperium have also been destroyed by the Crusade as it chased down leads. Among them were a group of Hereteks, whose tinkering with a world's Astropathic Relay caused an unusual emission that the Crusade tracked to its source.[1]

Another foe destroyed was two Sectors away upon an Ice World. There the Crusade's Technoarcheologists detected a semi-dormant Necron Tomb, which was fired upon by the Crusade's ships. Their orbital strikes ensured the Tomb was completely destroyed, along with all of the Necrons that dwelled within it.[1]
