Fall of Outpost Sigma-12
The Fall of Outpost Sigma-12 was a battle fought between the Imperial Fists and the Sons of Horus on the Space Marine homeworld of Cthonia.[1][2]

Background
Traitor forces breach the Imperial Fists' last defensive lines at Outpost Sigma-12. Though undermined by the Sons of Horus' subterranean onslaught, the Loyalists are determined to fight to the last in the name of the Emperor. They ultimately reap such a toll of Traitor lives that any victory won is a hollow one.[1]
This battle on Cthonia would be one of the last fought during the Horus Heresy, for shortly after its bloody conclusion Horus launched his assault on the Emperor's Palace on distant Terra.[1]
Diorama
There is also a diorama of the same name exhibited at Warhammer World.[1][2]
The hive city is hollow, and built from foam sheets and clad with parts from Sector Mechanicus and Zone Mortalis terrain kits.[1]
