Fane Wars

The Fane Wars was a civil war within the Leagues of Votann's Grendl Dominance League.[1]
The conflict began after the Jarvyk Gulf Kindred drove off invading Iron Warriors from their Hold. Afterwards, Grimnyr detected glimmers of protosentience in one of their Fanes. Other Kindreds of the Grendl Dominance League warmly honoured the awakening Fane. Until it issues its first proclamation - which was of immediate and obvious benefit - contracted the output of the League's original Ancestor Core. It was not long before Kindreds battled one another in a zealous war.[1]
