Faustus Mael is a fire-wielding Puritan Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus, who burns anything he considers to be even slightly heretical. He normally fights besides the Black Templars Chapter, who are also well known for abhorring witches and heretics.^[1]

• Inquisitor Faustus Mael was created by Maxime Corbeil, a Games Workshop Warhammer Studio employee, and he was showcased in an article of the November 2019 issue of White Dwarf.^[1]
• Mael was converted from a Tempestus Scion's torso, with braziers from a Corpse Cart, a mace from a Mortis Engine, and a head from a Stonehorn kit.^[1]
