Fen skulk
Fen skulks are large snake-like carnivorous amphibians native to il'Wolaho's swamps. Their skin is soft, rubbery and greenish-grey in colour. Their most prominent feature is their head. They have large spherical eyes perched high atop their skulls. The mouth of a fen skulk is filled with tiny needle-like teeth, ineffectual for biting or chewing. A pair of bony flippers protrude from behind fen skulk's jaws. The flippers are tipped with curved claws.[1]
The fen skulks are some of the most dangerous creatures that inhabit il'Wolaho's boggy lowlands. The Amphibians can lie beneath the swamp muck for days at a time in a hibernation-like state. They leech enough basic nutrients from their surroundings through their skin to stay alive. Despite this, the fen skulks will attack whenever they detect enough vibrations in their surroundings. The fen skulks attack in swarms by pouncing up from the swamp at their prey.[1]
