Force Lazarus
Force Lazarus was a Blood Angels battleforce which took part in the Second War for Armageddon.
History
During the first phase of the battle, 'Force Lazarus' was composed of four squads, formed during the successful defence of the bridges spanning the Skeletus River. Three days after the battle, it was expanded to include the entire 2nd Battle Company under the leadership of newly-promoted Captain Lazarus, where it took part in the relief of Tartarus Hive. Leading up to the final counter-offensive, 'Force Lazarus' was reinforced with additional units from the Chapter, which proved vital in killing Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka's bodyguard. In preparation for the final assault, 'Force Lazarus' received additional reinforcements, including an Armoured Spearhead and Suppression Force, and proved instrumental in facilitating a Drop Pod counter-offensive by Commander Dante himself.[1]
