G-X-17 is a world within Pygok's Reach that is notable for being the site of the discovery of the Skorl Xenos species.^[1]

The planet also hosted a colony of human farmers, known to farm both livestock and fungus.^[1]

History

At some point, the Skorl attacked the farmers on G-X-17, eating their flocks. An Adeptus Ministorum Missionary sent a distress call to any nearby Imperial forces for help with fending off the Xenos, which was intercepted by Inquisitor Bors Callimue of the Ordo Xenos.^[1]

However, rather than exterminating the Xenos, Callimue chose to protect the species, valuing their talents over the lives of G-X-17's population. The Inquisitor then made a deal with the Skorl offering them the right to prey upon the human population of the world in exchange for their weapons technology.^[1]
