Gargaz Teefgrabba is the Ork Bad Moons Warboss of Waaagh! Teefgrabba, which is invading the Imperial Hive World Luteus Alpha.[1c]
History
However it was originally known as Waaagh! Gutrekka and was commanded by Warboss Ogruk Gutwrekka when the initial invasion of the Hive World began[1a] in M42.[1b] At that time, Teefgrabba was just one of its many Orks, who was charged with feeding Squigs. When his chance came to take part in the invasion, Teefgrabba hoped he would use it as a chance to prove he could be the Waaagh!'s Warboss. As they clashed with the Guardsmen defending Luteus Alpha, though, the vehicle Teefgrabba was riding in was destroyed,[2a] leaving him the only survivor. As he lay dazed on the ground, a Commissar was about to shoot Teefgrabba when a Hair Squig, worn by one of the Orks riding with him, detached itself from its dead host and killed the Human. It then attached itself to Teefgrabba, who immediately embraced the parasite,[2b] while the Guardsmen fled after the death of the Commissar. This drew the attention of Warboss Gutwrekka and when he asked if Teefgrabba had killed the Commissar, the Ork quickly took credit for it.[2c] The Warboss decided to keep Teefgrabba close to him because of this, but in doing so, Gutwrekka took notice of Teefgrabba's Hair Squig and decided to claim it for himself.[2d] In his mind, since Gutwrekka was the Warboss then rightfully the Waaagh!'s snazziest things belonged to him.[1a]
This led Gutwrekka to invite Teefgrabba aboard a Heavy Bommer,[2d] when the Waaagh! began attacking one of Luteus Alpha's Hives.[2e] While Teefgrabba was firing from its open hatch, during the attack, the Warboss struck and pulled the Hair Squig from his head before tossing Teefgrabba out of the Bommer. A falling outraged Teefgrabba called Gutwrekka a thieving git[1a] and after surviving crashing to the ground, he vowed to reclaim his Hair Squig. Teefgrabba then fought his way to an Ork encampment, where he killed its Nob leader and convinced the Orks there to aid him in his quest. In order for him to succeed though, Teefgrabba needed to take possession of an aircraft that could reach Gutwrekka's Kroozer in the Hive World's orbit. This led him to attack a nearby Astra Militarum base with his Orks, where Teefgrabba destroyed the Baneblade Bastion of Valour and killed its Commissar commander in the process. However there were no aircraft within the base and so Teefgrabba left his Orks behind and entered a nearby sewer system to continue his search. He would immediately be attacked by the Cult of the All-Seeing Emperor Genestealer Cult that dwelled there, though, and this resulted in Teefgrabba killing many of its members. His battle led him to a refinery, where Teefgrabba killed The Cult's Biophagus and Patriarch before he made his escape as it began to explode. All this caused the Cult to begin attacking both the Imperium and the Waaagh!, as Teefgrabba continued his search.[1b]
He would then fight his way through the Astra Militarum and the Cult, before eventually coming into conflict with a White Scars strike force defending Luteus Alpha. Despite being outnumbered, Teefgrabba slew the Space Marines that attacked him, which included the White Scars' Primaris Chaplain. His battle with the Space Marines ended in a base they were using, where Teefgrabba found one of the White Scars' Thunderhawks. An excited Teefgrabba sought to use it to reach Warboss Gutwrekka's Kroozer, but he was attacked by the Imperial Knight Horrik Canorem before he could do so. Though he faced a towering war machine, Teefgrabba was heavily armed and their battle ended with Canorem's death. Afterwards, Teefgrabba took the Thunderhawk into the Hive World's orbit and fought his way through the Kroozer in order to confront Gutwrekka. However the battle inflicted heavy damage on the Kroozer, which caused it to crash into Luteus Alpha before Teefgrabba had a chance to do so. Once more though, he survived the crash landing into the Hive World, but Teefgrabba was soon confronted by Gutwrekka who also survived the impact. The Warboss was aboard a Stompa and insulted Teefgrabba for causing his Kroozer to crash. Teefgrabba though ignored this upon seeing his Hair Squig on Gutwrekka's head and demanded the Warboss return it to him. A laughing Gutwrekka refused and claimed the Hair Squig now preferred him over Teefgrabba, which enraged the Ork. He vowed to take it back by force and the two then fought. Teefgrabba emerged victorious[1b] and the Warboss' Stompa exploded from the damage he caused it. Gutwrekka survived though and as he lay dazed, Teefgrabba reclaimed his Hair Squig and declared himself the Waaagh!'s new Warboss. He renamed it as Waaagh! Teefgrabba and then continued the attack on Luteus Alpha.[1c]
