Gariel is the Sergeant of the 3rd Intercessor Squad in the Flesh Tearers Chapter's 3rd Company. The squadron's cognomen is the Incensors and they are currently among the strike force that Chaplain Arken Sabriel is leading into battle.^[1]

The Sergeant wields a power fist and a hand flamer.^[1]

• Gariel, the Incensors and Arken Sabriel were created by the Games Workshop employee Wade Pryce and they were featured in a Warhammer Community article.^[1]
• Gariel's power fist and hand flamer weapon combination was inspired by a Flesh Tearers artwork featured in the 3rd edition of the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.^[1]
