Gauntlet of Ages

The Gauntlet of Ages was a Tyrant Class Cruiser of the Imperial Navy, which fought in the Badab War. During the Invasion of Pireaus, and the battle of Pireaus V, it was crippled by ground fire from massive emplacements of macro-cannon and defence laser batteries on the surface.[1a]
After the Tyrant’s war fleet ripped into the Materium at the edge of the inner Pireaus System, the Gauntlet of Ages turned to a glorious and fatal last charge into the teeth of the oncoming enemy, deliberately seeking out and engaging the Secessionist fire ships before they could wreak havoc on the Loyalist main force, until the Seraph of Judgement closed in and crushed her valiant heart.[1b]
