Ghallaron
Ghallaron the Pious is a fanatical Black Legion Dark Apostle of Chaos Undivided, who commands the Dark Zealots Warband.[1a]
History
He leads them into the most ferocious and varied war zones as part of the Dark Apostle's never-ending quest to offer praise to the Chaos Gods. The Dark Zealots follow Ghallaron willing, though, as they believe allying themselves to one so blessed by the Pantheon will see them receive the same boons[1a]. This has proven to be true, as his heretical prayers not only inspire the Warband's warriors, but also wreathes them in cloaking shadows or gifts them with unnaturally sharp senses.[1b] The tales of Ghallaron's feats travel fast and with each new deed, more Black Legionaries are eager to join one so blessed by the Chaos Gods.[2a] Mortal followers are also drawn to the Dark Apostle and they are zealous worshipers who are brimming with hate. They see the faith of Chaos as an easy route to power in an uncaring galaxy.[2b]
Among the battles he has led the Dark Zealots in, was against the Order of Our Martyred Lady forces of Canoness Ellyrine. This occurred after the Warband invaded the Cardinal World, the Adepta Sororitas were stationed on.[3]
