Gladius Invictus
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
The Gladius Invictus was a relic of the Dark Age of Technology, discovered during the time of the Great Crusade.[1a]
The Gladius Invictus was a broad-bladed, artificer-wrought short sword that was carried by the champions of Ultramar for many generations, it was recovered from ancient human ruins on one of the outer worlds of the Prandium system. The weapon integrates a cunning gyroscopic inductor that makes it fiendishly difficult to master, but which makes thrusts nigh impossible for the enemy to predict or counter.[1b]
