The Glaive of Janus was a Battle Barge of the Grey Knights Chapter and flagship of the 1st Brotherhood.[1a][1b]
History
The Glaive of Janus served for almost ten thousand years as the flagship of the First Brotherhood.[1b] After the conclusion of the First War of Armageddon, the warship took part in the containment campaign on the planet of Armageddon.[1a]
During the Months of Shame, the Glaive and its frigates, Kaskara and Spatha, were destroyed by a Space Wolves ambush, resulting in the death of 50 veterans of the 1st Brotherhood. The remains of the three ships were later found by the Grey Knights frigate Karabela.[1b]
