Glory of Gehenna
The Glory of Gehenna was a Mechanicus transport vessel under the command of Magos Kappel.[1]
History
It was one of several ships charged with gathering minerals from the mining facility Aes Metallum, on the frozen world of Ixya. While traveling to Ixya, the Gehenna received a message from Aes Metallum stating they needed their assistance, as they were under attack from Necrons that had awoken on the planet.
The ship fired upon the growing Necron horde once it reached the orbit of the planet, causing massive casualties to the xenos. Once the attack faded, however, the undamaged Necron structures on Ixya fired upon the Glory of Gehenna, destroying it and sending it plunging into the planet. The Necrons attacked Aes Metallum as the Gehenna crashed near the facility.[1]
