Golden Chain

The Golden Chain is a series of Imperial Shrine Worlds.[1] They are located in the Cirillo Sector of Ultima Segmentum. They lie in proximity of where the Great Rift split the Ultima Segmentum inside the Imperium Sanctus.[2a]
History
During the Indomitus Crusade, the Golden Chain was all but broken by the forces of Chaos. Now only the Shrine World Velua remains defiant and it is being defended by the Crusade.[1]
