The Golden Halos are a Space Marine Chapter.[2a]
Overview
Their motto Ex Ungue Leonem ("Judge the Lion by his Claws") reveals their proud martial tradition[2a] and the Golden Halos' banner has flown above many a battlefield. Most notably it witnessed the Chapter's victories at Kistvaen, Podzul and the decade-long Siege of Nectocalyx, which was more commonly known as "The Meatgrinder."[1]
The Chapter also fought the Tyranids on Uzash and saw victories against the Eldar on Elikis and Paiwesh[2d]. Recently in M42, the Golden Halos fought the Dark Eldar on Saint Pelagion[2a] and defeated the Death Guard on Rhagabe.[2b]
