Gräf01
The Gräf01 is a venerated and expansive document of the Leagues of Votann, that provides a firm set of guiding principles on how to organise their military forces.[1]
Description
According to the Teachings of the Hearth, the Votann of the long-fallen Korstal‑Vygô Chain League is believed to have created the Gräf01, which was then traded throughout the Leagues of Votann. It was then re-recorded and adapted, until the document became the standard reference to the Leagues' armies. But while the Gräf01 contains a wealth of hierarchical diagrams, logistical principles, and operational guidelines, the Leagues' leaders are pragmatic on how they follow it. They recognize that the document is a set of guidelines, rather than hard and fast rules, which has allowed commanders to gain the upper hand, by modifying the Gräf01's tactics to suit their needs. However the Leagues are highly respectful of it and they will return to the rules outlined within the document, wherever possible.[1]
