Gracia Emmanuelle
Gracia Emmanuelle is a Canoness of the Order of the Argent Shroud in the Gathalamor Preceptory.[2a]
As the Battle of Gathalamor began, multiple Preceptories of the Order of the Argent Shroud were among the initial Imperial forces sent to aid the Shrine World.[1b] Canoness Imelda Veritas would take command of their Battle Sisters, with Emmanuelle serving as her second-in-command as a Palatine.[1a] Though heavily outnumbered, these initial forces needed only to prevent the Chaos invaders from claiming Gathalamor until Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus arrived.[1b]
After the death of Imelda Veritas during the later stages of the Indomitus Crusade, Emmanuelle was granted her office.[2b] Later during the Pariah Crusade, Emmanuelle led Sisters of Battle forces at Paradyce II. With the Imperial fleet led by Fleetmaster VanLeskus mauled by the sudden arrival of massive Necron reinforcements, Emmanuelle and her Sisters were left to wage a final stand alongside Frateris Militia under Shanni Saintsgift against the Xenos. The zealous Imperials fought to the last.[2c]
