Gramatticus is a Black Templars Marshal.^[1]

History

He rose from relative obscurity after receiving a vision of the Emperor, that called upon Gramatticus to purge the Galaxy of Xenos. Since then, the Marshal has come to view the T'au Empire as the greatest Xenos threat to the Imperium and he leapt at the chance to fight them^[1] in the Dark Crusade's^[2] Mont'shi Campaign.^[3] Though the Campaign ultimately failed to defeat the T'au and caused the Imperium a great number of losses,^[2] Grammatticus survived the conflict.^[1]

Gramatticus was created for the Dark Crusade Campaign, by the Hobby Center staff of Games Workshop's Oakridge store^[1] in San Jose, California, USA.^[3]
