Grav-Raider
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
The Grav-Raider was a rare variant of the Land Raider that used anti-gravitic plates designed by Arkhan Land.[1] At least one additional design of Grav-Raider was known to be developed from the world of Caliban. These Calibanite Grav-Raiders were used by the Deathwing of the Dark Angels[2]
Notable Grav-Raiders
- Land's Raider - the personal transport of Arkhan Land, this Raider was larger even than a Spartan Assault Tank and armoured with rare Martian alloys deemed too rare for use by the Legiones Astartes. It featured an armoured turret with a quad-Volkite Culverin array.[1]
- Galatine - the personal transport of the Voted Lieutenant of the Deathwing. Holguin believed it to be a unique design of Caliban.[2]
