The Graviton Pulse Launcher is a Heavy Weapon[1a] created from the unusual gravitic phenomena that affect the Lathe Worlds.[1b]
Based upon the graviton gun, the launcher projects an orb or nucleus of barely contained gravitic energy. The orb descends rapidly, limiting its range, but once a target is struck, the field containing the energy collapses and a vast pulse of energy radiates outwards, violently crushing anything nearby. This pressure is typically non-lethal, causing anyone caught in its field to become immobile for a short while.[1b]
The launcher weighs 24 kilograms, has a range of 20 meters.[1a]
