Grim Crusade
The Grim Crusade is a Necron campaign waged by the Nekrosor Ammentar to reunite all of the shards of the shattered C'tan Aza'gorod. By doing so, Ammentar hopes to cause the C'tan to be reborn, so that Aza'gorod can carry out the Nekrosor's desire to destroy all organic life in the galaxy.[1]

History
In order to complete its task, Ammentar leads the Cursed Legion through the transspatial nexuses of Necron Tomb Worlds to reach Aza'gorod's shards. The C'tan greatly aids it in this, as Aza'gorod whispers to the Nekrosor and guides Ammentar to their locations. Once it reaches them, the Nekrosor will wage war against its fellow Necrons and other Xenos species in order to gain possession of the shards. These liberated fragments of Aza'gorod will then fight beside Ammentar's Destroyer Cult armies and aid the Nekrosor in collecting the next shard that Aza'gorod leads it to. Once Ammentar has a shard, it will abandon the battlefield and find the nearest transspatial nexus in order to continue its mission. However, the Nekrosor will leave a portion of the Cursed Legion behind, to finish off any foes that have survived its attacks.[1]
