Guardsman of the Week

The Guardsman of the Week is a prestigious garland award, that The Regimental Standard gives weekly to Astra Militarum Guardsmen.[1]
Description
In order to quality for the award, Guardsmen must commit a brave act in battle that warrants their nomination. However the nomination is given by a Guardsman's commanding officer, who must survive the battle in order to do so. The Guardsman of the Week has no value in Imperial credits, but those who earn the award are given an extra half-ration of Ambull meat. Note that this is at the discretion of the awarded Guardsman's Commissar and will only be given if they are still alive to receive it.[1]
Known Winners
- Harris - Private within the 117th Adrassi Regiment.[1]
- M. K. Jones - Guardsman of the Ventrillian Nobles 118th ‘Opal Raptors’ Regiment. Awarded posthumously by The Regimental Standard for the 14,547th consecutive time.[2]
