Hekkarron
Hekkarron was a member of the Adeptus Custodes.[1a]
A Warden of the Shadowkeepers, Hekkarron was charged with overseeing the capture of Cypher and his Fallen Angels within the Dark Cells shortly after the Terran Crusade. However thanks to the interference of a group of Dark Angels hunting the Fallen led by Mordachi, Cypher and his group were able to escape.[1b] Leading a tense pursuit of the Fallen, Hekkarron eventually encountered and killed most of Mordachi's Dark Angels as well.[1c]
However the battle left him near death, and as he lay dying he experienced a vision from the Emperor of a withered old man on a plain stone throne amidst a ruined Imperium. Seemingly reanimated, Hekkarron was eventually able to catch up with Cypher as he is about to cross the Bridge of Ascension and enter the Throneroom. Hekkarron revealed that he knew Cypher would be here and is guided by a vision from the Emperor. He then tells Cypher "not yet", which the Lord of the Fallen acknowledges to and promptly leaves. After Cypher left, Hekkarron succumbed to his wounds and died.[1d]
