Hierotek Circles are Necron Kill Team Units.^[1]

These covert units are commanded by Crypteks and quietly dispatched across the galaxy. Their primary mission is to learn of the enemies of their lords, who often are rival Dynasties as well as other races. Many a Deathmark from a Hierotek Circle has secretly instigated war between two Dynasties with a well-placed shot at the behest of their scheming Cryptek lord. Many conduct their missions so swiftly and effectively that none know they are there until it is too late.^[2]
