Honour's Calls are rare artefacts of the Raven Guard Chapter, who will send aid to those who have activated the devices.[1]

Description

They are black discs, that bear the Chapter's symbol and date back millennia ago, when the Raven Guard were still led by their Primarch Corax. It was on his orders, that the Honour's Calls were equipped with irreplaceable pre-Imperial technologies and afterwards the devices were only given to a select few of those who have done a great service to the Raven Guard. When activated, their symbol on the discs will begin to blink and the recipient of the Honour's Call can record an encoded message upon it, detailing what kind of aid is required. In turn, this will activate an identical disc within the Raven Guard's Fortress Monastery, the Ravenspire, days later, with the recording of the request for aid. A Serf will bring this to their attention and the Raven Guard will then fulfill the request, no matter how long ago the device was given away. And since they keep extensive records on those who have been given an Honour's Call, the Raven Guard will know the history and location of the recipient. By M42, however, the Honour's Calls have become exceedingly rare and even the Chapter's most skilled Techmarines can no longer understand how the devices function.[1]
