House Asmodrokh is a Chaos Knight house.[1]
Overview
Unusual amongst the Chaos Knights, the pilots of House Asmodrokh are Armiger Knights, with what few larger suits are left are utterly subservient to the Helms Mechanicum of their War Dog masters. This is a direct reversal of the usual state of affairs, where such engines and their drooling pilots are viewed as dishonourable curs. This preference began in an uprising staged by its War Dog servants led by Rydemaster Sionex Auvak in M38. Not able to tolerate any more abuse, the common soldierly of the house rose up on their indolent masters. What trick of dark sorcery reversed the neural flow between Helms Mechanicum and Thrones Mechanicum remains a closely guarded secret. The House's nobles were caught by utter surprise and those that survived have since been coopted into unwilling shock troops.[1]
Leading swift light assaults, larger classes of Knights captured in battle are seized and incorporated into service as new bond-slaves. These include the unwilling pilots, who are broken and enslaved.[1]
