House Haarlock
House Haarlock was an infamous and (according to some) damned Rogue Trader House.[1a]
History
It was founded by Mordecai Haarlock, who was a former Free Captain in the Jericho Sector. He was granted a Warrant of Trade, by Sebastian Thor, for his efforts in fighting against High Lord Vandire's rule in the Sector, during the Age of Apostasy.[2]
House Haarlock was later active in the Calixis Sector, which was first discovered by Solomon Haarlock circa 760.M36[1a]. In M41, the House was wracked by a succession war between Haarlock's heirs to become its next Rogue Trader. This led Erasmus Haarlock to begin a brutal purge of House Haarlock and he began systematically butchering its scions. He successfully tracked down and killed every single member of the House, including those within the Koronus Expanse in 703.M41. When Erasmus completed his purge, he was the only member of House Haarlock still alive and the Rogue Trader vanished afterwards.[1b]
