House Ironhelm is a Knight House that is allied with the Adeptus Mechanicus.[1]

Like all such Knight Houses, they were required to provide a quota of their Knights to aid their masters. However, they notoriously failed to do so after pridefully losing several Knights in an honour duel just days before mustering their forces for the Mechanicus. Failing to provide their quotas of Knights is seen as the greatest dishonour that Houses who serve the Mechanicus can suffer, and those who fall short in this way rarely recover from the shame. The Knights of House Ironhelm proved to be no exception to this and their downfall became a cautionary tale to the rulers of Knight Houses allied to the Adeptus Mechanicus.[1]
