Hy'Galas
Hy'Galas was an Imperial, whose scriptures led him to be declared an Arch-Heretic and he was later executed by the Inquisition in 0.762.1324.M33.[1]
History
In his works, Hy'Galas described the Emperor as an unmoving carcass and not a divine being who controlled every aspect of the Imperium. Hy'Galas also stated that while the High Lords of Terra now ruled the Imperium and tried to interpret the Emperor's will, they had no hope of truly filling His role. For Hy'Galas thought the Emperor's empire was too vast and filled with groups who had conflicting interests. He stated these groups worked secretly within the Imperium to exert their influence over it and remarked that the Navis Nobilite was among them. While many speculated about the Navigators' shrouded history, Hy'Galas claimed he found the truth of the matter, through ancient texts held by the Inquisition. Though he stated they were held in the Inquisition's most secured record-crypts, Hy'Galas was somehow able to gain access to these texts and the knowledge they held. After doing so, he wrote a detailed history of the Navis Nobilite from its early history, as the Emperor's creation to navigate the Warp, all the way to the powerful group's inner workings circa M33. Hy'Galas also briefly described several Navigator Houses, which included M'edici, Locarno, Hals-Viati, Sixtus, Davor-Jarni, Emed-Useli and the destroyed House D'Kark.[1]
However Hy'Galas' scriptures, later led him to be declared an Arch-Heretic and he was executed by the Inquisition, via flagellation, in 0.762.1324.M33. Despite his status as a Heretic, though, the Inquisition has kept Hy'Galas' scriptures for their records. Only they have clearance to read his works, but even then, it has been noted that several pages of Hy'Galas' scriptures have been permanently wiped away.[1]
