Hyrcania
The Hyrcania was a Strike Cruiser of the Astral Claws Chapter.[1]
History
In 911.M41, the population of Rook testified to the Imperial Navy of increased slave raids of nearby systems and attacks by corsairs led by the Hyrcania.[3]
During the Red Hour, forces under Arch-Centurion Carnac Commodus of the Astral Claws stormed the Salamanders battle-barge Pyre of Glory.[2] After the victory, he ordered his warriors not only to kill all of the Salamanders who peacefully surrendered to the Executioners Space Marines (who were allies to the Astral Claws), but also to remove all of Salamanders' precious geneseed stored on the battle-barge. Insulted by this unimaginable order, the Executioners turned on the Astral Claws and with the aid of all of survived Salamanders started the bloody decimation of their former allies. In the ensuing battle on board the Pyre of Glory and the Astral Claws' ship Hyrcania, every single Astral Claw, chapter serf and servitor present was relentlessly and savagely slaughtered, and the ship was left a charnel house of decapitated bodies.[1]
