Icaron
Icaron was a Bladeguard Veteran in the Ultramarines Chapter.[1]
History
He was among the squadron that Veteran Sergeant Metaurus led to destroy a relic of the Chaos God Tzeentch on Zsah'Uj. The squadron also included the Bladeguard Veteran Levantus and the Primaris Lieutenant Demetrian Titus, and they deployed together from a Strike Cruiser, that would fire on the relic's location after it was destroyed. They then fought through numerous Tzeentch Cultists and Tzaangors to reach their target, which was a large statue of a Lord of Change. As they fired at the relic, however, a Tzeentch Sorcerer attacked the squadron and froze them in place. It then entered each of the squadron members' minds to strike at them and this led to the deaths of Icaron and Levantus, while Metaurus was left severely wounded. Titus, though, was able to break free of the Sorcerer's control, after it entered his mind, and killed the Heretic. The Lieutenant then provided the Strike Cruiser with the relic's coordinates and pulled Metaurus to safety, before the statue's location was destroyed by the warship.[1]
Trivia
Though a screen in the beginning of Warhammer 40,000: And They Shall Know No Fear shows that it was Icaron who went on the Zsah'Uj mission,[1] a Warhammer Community article states that it was Torvald who went instead.[2]
