Ikiaaqh Athanar
Ikiaaqh Athanar was a veteran Terran Terminator Sergeant in the White Scars Legion, who took part in the Unification Wars, the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy.[1]
History
He was among the first cadres of Legionaries to be equipped with Saturnine Terminator Armour and used it well, during the Imperium's initial battles beyond the Sol System. However, when the V Legion, as the White Scars were known then, broke apart into Pioneer Companies, Athanar lost access to the Legion's Phoebian Tech-Wrights. Without their expertise, his Saturnine Armour could not be maintained and so it was taken from Athanar and reassigned. He would not don another Saturnine until the Horus Heresy, when the Storm Seer Nikudaar returned to the White Scars with several suits of the armour. It was on his Primarch Jaghatai Khan's orders, that Athanar did so and he then led the Saturnine-equipped Terminator Squad Athanar, against Warmaster Horus' forces.[1]
