Iktomia is the first moon of Arachnus and a Forge Moon, which was under the domain of the Blackshield Legio Tritonis during the Horus Heresy.^[1][2]

Arachnus was once infested by Mega-Arachnids, which led Iktomia to long ago favour the production of Warlord Titans to fight the creatures.^[1][2]
