A Captain of the Cadian Shock Troops^[3]

Captain is a rank within the Imperial Guard.

Captains act as combat unit commanders, being more of a 'fighting role' than a leading one. They are the most common regimental senior officer. Captains are often thought of as Company commanders.^[1]
