Imperial Shock Lance
Imperial Shock Lances are capacitors located in the visors[1a] of Praetorian Pattern Knights,[1b] that can emit close ranged high voltage electrical shocks.[1a]
Description
As the Knights charge into battle, huge dynamos located[1a] in the Praetorian's[1b] engines revolve and store electrical charges. This is sent to the Knights' capacitors, which can be emitted when the Praetorian enters close combat. The attack is so great, that the Imperial Shock Lance's electricity grounds itself into the earth by striking the Knights' foes. Infantry struck by it are burned to their bones, while vehicles' weapon systems are shorted out by the electricity.[1a]

The Imperial Shock Lance and Praetorian Pattern Knight were created by the Games Workshop employee Ian Pickstock. They were featured in The Citadel Journal 1.[1b]
