Industrial Rig

Industrial Rigs are rugged Imperial vehicles that are used in its heavy industries, like mining and macro-grade fabrication.[1]
Description
They are designed with reinforced chassis to withstand the often dangerous conditions these industries require and are also equipped with powerful industrial tools. During the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, the Industrial Rig's armour and armaments ensured they were often used as light ad-hoc military transports for the Imperialis Militia.[1]
Types of Industrial Rigs
- Mining Rig - Equipped with Searchlights, a Dozer Blade and a Twin-Linked turret mounted Heavy Flamer, a Gravis Autocannon, Heavy Seismic Cannon or a Heavy Mining Laser[1]
- Explorator Rig - Equipped with Searchlights, a Dozer Blade, a Twin-Linked turret mounted Heavy Stubber and a front hull mounted Heavy Flamer. The vehicles were also able to conduct an auto-repair on any damage they suffered.[1]
