Inertial Dampeners

Inertial Dampeners[1] or Inertial Dampers[2] are devices used by the Imperium to counteract the effects of acceleration.[1]

Inertial Dampeners are found on ships of the Imperial Navy[1] and on tanks of the Astra Militarum like the Leman Russ Conqueror where they help keep the main gun steady and aim-locked, no matter how much the tank bounces and lurches around.[2]
