Invictus is a Librarian in the Blood Angels Chapter.[1]

History

He took part in the Third War of Armageddon, where Invictus commanded a number of Blood Angels against the invading Orks. However the Librarian later lost contact with his Chapter, during the conflict and had not been seen since. Several units that were under his command, disappeared from Armageddon as well.[1] When the Dark Crusade began, though,[2] the Imperium received reports that Blood Angels led by Invictus were seen taking part[1] in the Gathrog Campaign against the Green Kroosade.[3] These Blood Angels would attack the flanks of Ork Warbands that were attacking Imperial outposts, but they made no contact with other Imperial forces. This led the Imperium to be unsure if it was truly Invictus taking part in the Campaign or what his intentions were. However the Librarian's identity and loyalty to the Imperium were eventually confirmed. He was later critically wounded in battle with the Green Kroosade, but survived his wounds and continued to fight against the Orks. Though the Gathrog Campaign would end in failure,[2] Invictus survived the Crusade.[1]

Trivia

Invictus was created for the Dark Crusade Campaign, by the Hobby Center staff of Games Workshop's Annapolis store[1] in Annapolis, Maryland, USA.[3]
