Inwit Cluster
The Inwit Cluster, also known as the Inwit System, is a closely grouped together series of Ice Worlds, that belong to the Imperium.[1a]
History
Among them is Inwit, which was the Homeworld of the Primarch Rogal Dorn. He would rule the Inwit Cluster until he was rediscovered by the Emperor in 835.M30 and left it to take part in the Imperium's Great Crusade.[1a] Inwit then became the Homeworld of the Primarch's Legion, the Imperial Fists. It was for this reason that it was targeted by Warmaster Horus' forces during the Horus Heresy. The Inwit Cluster would be attacked as well, in a campaign that lasted for four years. Furthermore, A vast Traitor fleet led by elements of the Emperor's Children wrought terrible destruction upon the region.[2] Eventually, however, the Siege of Terra drew the Traitors away from the Cluster, though a string of its worlds were left as burning wastelands.[1b]
