Iurgium
Iurgium is a Cerastus Knight Acheron piloted by Baron Roosev Maven Taranis of House Taranis. Iurgium’s machine spirit veers between anger and misery while out of combat, only joyful in combat, and his dourer moods tug down the pilot's own.[1]
The prominent spirit of a former pilot that has influenced the personality of the Iurgium is known only as Maven the Very Elder, an ancient ancestor who's name is lost to time. The spirit calls to mind the image of a noble with a drooping mustache. All that is known of this warrior's past is that he was sufficiently old enough to have been born when the elderly Raf Maven was still lord, thousands of years ago. This residual spirit is often disapproving when it speaking and has had some influence on Iurgium’s sullen machine spirit. While out of combat or when treading upon less-than-ideal terrain, Maven the Very Elder often leads a miserable chorus made up of other less prominent honoured ancestor's voices. This miserable chorus of spirits frequently nags the current pilot, lamenting there being "no honour, no glory" whenever not engaged in combat.[1]
