History
Born on Nostramo, Jago took part in the Horus Heresy as a Chaos Raptor. He then rose within the Traitor Legion by slaying his superiors and making a pact with the Chaos Gods.[1]
Sometime later, Jago became a Chaos Lord[2] and led the Raptorous Flayhost, which was composed of fellow Nostromos and veterans of the Long War.[1] He became known as a master duellist with the Claws of the Black Hunt[2] and for having the Howling Griffons Chapter as his sworn enemy.[1]
For a time, Jago dedicated himself to Khorne and the Blood God's Daemons would fight beside the Flayhost.[2] However, Slaanesh and Tzeentch ultimately held sway over him and both fought for the Chaos Lord's soul. This continued even as Jago became a Daemon Prince and led to his soul being split in two by the Chaos Gods. When his body was remade, this caused Jago to develop two heads on his winged form with two pairs of eyes, each a different colour, representing Slaanesh and Tzeentch. As a result, the Daemon Prince's daemonic allegiance changes, depending on which of the two Chaos Gods has the greater hold on him at the time.[1]
Trivia
