Jarrok Skreel
Jarrok Skreel, known as the Disciple of the Red Angel, was a powerful Slaughterbound within the World Eaters.[1a] He commanded his own warband of Exalted Eightbound known as the Viscerati.[1c]
Known for his keen tactical mind and surprising rationality despite his Butcher's Nails-driven battle frenzy[1b], Skreel was present aboard the Conqueror when its Daemonic Machine Spirit suddenly made course for Armageddon. Trusting this turn of events and feeling the call of the Red Angel's Gate on Armageddon, Skreel and his Eightbound forces killed any that attempted to divert the ships course. In the subsequent Season of Blood, Skreel acted as the operational Heretic commander while the newly manifested Angron normally acted more as a spiritual leader and force of destruction.[1a][1b] During the final battle for the Red Angel's Gate, Skreel was killed by Space Wolves Battle Leader Styrbjorn Flinteye at the cost of the loyalist Astartes own life.[1c]
