Ka'saa Debris Cloud

The Ka'saa Debris Cloud is a region of space, that contains the wreckage of spaceships and is also infested by pirates from a myriad of Xenos species.[1]
History
For years, they secretly struck out from Ka'saa and became a plague on Imperial space lanes between dozens of worlds. However when the Imperium's Sector Command learned that the Pirates were operating from the debris cloud, the order was given to destroy them. It was determined to be an extremely onerous task, though, and Sector Command would call upon the Space Marines for aid. The Iron Hands answered their request and dispatched several of Clan Dorrvok Scout squads to purge the Ka'saa Debris Cloud, in what became known as the Ka'saa Clearance.[1]
