Kaist was a Fortress World of the Imperium.[1a] It is the third planet of the Semythis System, located in the Pankallis Sub-sector.[1b]
History
In early M42, the Octarius War threatened to spill out of the Octarius warzone and breach the Cordon Impenetra. In the course of the fighting, a horde of orks led by Stugbrog da Facegrinda rampaged through the Semythis System, destroying most Imperial resistance. In the process, Kaist was overwhelmed, as were Nazkah and Tylam.[1a]
Following the fall of Kaist, Stugbrog got bored and decided to move on from the Semythis System to the Kernak System.[1a]
